Portfolio of Works

Collection of color studies for major paintings.  These small oils measuring approximately 8" x 10" are oil studies completed as preliminary work for larger paintings.  More affordable in price, they capture the essence of the finished paintings. but are looser and more spontaneous than the larger finished paintings.

These are portrait, head and figure studies all completed from "life", that is from the live model.  Many are alla prima completed in one sitting and other more finished studies are completed over several sittings.  I make it a regular practice to paint from "life", as this hones my painting skills and keeps me familiar with what occurs in nature, as this is particularly important in interpreting color and other such effects when painting from photographic references.

Collection of figure and head drawings from life.

Warren Chang Fine Art is proud to publish select Fine Art Prints.  These are signed and numbered by the artist and personally inspected and color corrected by the artist in manufacturing a canvas print, as faithful to the original art as possible.

All prints come stretched on wooden stretcher bars and are sold unframed.  Only the artist's best and most memorable paintings will be selected for print run.  For the first inaugural print, the artist has selected "Fall Tilling".  Originally measuring 34 x 40 inches, oil on canvas, the giclee prints will be printed to the size of 30 x 36 inches.

This particular painting was sold for the price of $30,0000, so here is an opportunity to purchase this special print of this painting for a fraction of the cost of the original.  This first print will be limited to a run of 95 canvas prints.  Stay tuned for more select paintings to be added to the print collection.  Shipping is calculated at check out.

* Custom prints can be produced upon request.  Please email Warren for size options and pricing.
